About us
Science Lux is a project that we began in order to connect and share within our community. Created in the time of COVID-19, we wanted to have a place to come together, which naturally meant finding a place online. As scientists in the Lethbridge area, we are continually amazed and inspired by the amazing work that goes on around us. So much research goes on here, which is not always visible at first glance. We know so many amazing scientists - researchers, students, professors, and more - who are passionate about their work. Undoubtedly, there are many more people working on equally fascinating projects, who we don't yet know. With Science Lux, we hope to find and connect with these individuals - and with you! What we do
Our purpose here at Science Lux is to highlight some of the amazing individuals who do scientific work here in Lethbridge, as well as the projects that they're working on. Once a week, we post photos and a short interview from a member of our scientific community. You can find some of these interviews under the 'scientist' tab at the top of the page. We also post a condensed version of the interview on our Instagram page (@science_lux). We're always looking for new people to interview, so if you or someone you know is doing cool work, and wants to be featured, send us a message and let us know!
